LBD completely rebuilt this 48 year old failing deck in 6 weeks. Originally standing on 815 square feet, it was rebuilt at 700 sqft. The client decided she never used the rear staircase or landing, so that was scrapped and the deck was rebuilt in an almost identical footprint, with an enhanced design layout. As expected with replacing a nearly half century deck, we found some rot to the home along the existing ledger board. Several floor joists along with the entire chimney needed reframing but this was anticipated and addressed in the process.
